Testimonials

This is a really great course. Very well presented and easy to follow. I now feel confident to start safely integrating the techniques I’ve learnt into my current practice. I will definitely do the advanced courses!

Excellent course! Great combination of theory, clinical reasoning and practical components. It is easy to see how I can incorporate the skills into my practice. Brilliant manual which extensively covered neurophysiology of needling, safety and consent documentation and includes a large practical component. I highly recommend this course.

The introductory course was great, the lecturers were brilliant and ensured that the course was applicable to clinical situations. Learning both segmental needling and dry needling is a huge advantage as the two different techniques will benefit a wide variety of my patients.

This is a fantastic course for Podiatrists. Separate examples relating to podiatrists were really helpful. Looking forward to incorporating acupuncture and dry needling as an additional treatment to my present practice.

I have attended several Dry Needling courses run by various presenters around Australia. I recently attended the Combined Health Advanced Musculoskeletal Segmental & Dry Needling; Lumbar Spine and Lower Quadrant course presented by Leigh McCutcheon and I would highly recommend it as an excellent course. Leigh’s depth of field with anatomy and research knowledge comes through with her teaching. The manual is twice the size of the other courses that I have attended and gives you an excellent reference guide for when you are back in your clinic. The section on neurophysiology of needling is more thorough than the other courses I have attended. Also the pictures display representative anatomy and pictures of real patients with needles in place. This is incredibly helpful when you’re revising after a course and trying to implement new techniques.  The practical was excellent and included 2 presenters reviewing the practical sessions.

Of all the courses I have attended Combined Health’s  Acupuncture and Dry Needling course has the strongest theory and practical content and gives you the most skills to treat your clients. For a therapist wanting a firsthand experience or an expansion of knowledge base this course is the best by far.

I attended the Introductory level course on the Gold Coast in mid-February, and wanted to thank Leigh and Karin for their excellent teaching and tuition over the weekend. In the 8 weeks since the course the dry needling and acupuncture techniques I learnt have changed my practice more than any other. Thank you both for your teaching and expertise.
