Western Acupuncture and Dry Needling Course Registration
The APA accredited introductory dry needling and western acupuncture course meets the standards required for professional indemnity insurance. Please be aware that some other courses do not have sufficient contact hours or training in safety standards to meet the requirements for professional indemnity insurance.
Only registered health practitioners are able to do the course. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have current physiotherapy, medical practitioner, osteopathic, chiropractic, occupational therapy, myotherapy or podiatry registration and that they hold professional indemnity insurance.
New graduates and students near graduating are welcome to attend our course. The course will comprehensively prepare you to competently and safely commence needling therapies. Please contact the clinic to discuss the required indemnity insurance.
The course runs from 8am-5pm on the Saturday and 8am-1pm on the Sunday.
Course places are allocated according to the date that an Application Form is received by Combined Health Pty Ltd and pending course vacancies. The early bird cost is applicable if the application is received prior to one month before the course. You will receive a phone call or text confirming your place on the course. The early bird cost is $695 (application received prior to one month before each course). The usual course cost is $770. Payment is processed approximately one month prior to each course. At this stage you will be posted a receipt and other details concerning the course location and pre-reading.
Terms and Conditions
To register for a Combined Health course or to go on the waiting list for a course a registration form needs to be completed and returned to Combined Health. Combined Health will contact you to confirm your spot on the course, this is usually done on the same working day when the form is received. Places are allocated according to the date that the application form is received. If you have not received an email back please contact Combined Health via email or phone. Payment is processed one month prior to the course.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have current physiotherapy, medical practitioner, osteopathic, chiropractic, occupational therapy or podiatry registration and that they have professional indemnity insurance. Myotherapists that have completed a myotherapy degree and have professional indemnity insurance are eligible. Final year students approaching graduation in physiotherapy, osteopathic, chiropractic, occupational therapy or podiatry are also eligible.
Combined Health acknowledges and respects the privacy of its course participants. The information provided by you on the course registration form is ‘personal information’ as defined by the Privacy Act 1988.The information is being collected by Combined Health and will be held by Combined Health. The information is being collected for the purpose of processing your registration and keeping you informed about other events. The provision of information is voluntary but if it is not provided Combined Health may not be able to process your registration. You have the right to access and alter personal information about yourself in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
‘Early bird’ discounts are applicable for registrations that are received greater than 4 weeks prior to a course. Payment is processed approximately one month prior to each course. Should a course participant need to cancel after payment has been processed, payment is 50% refundable up until 14 calendar days prior to the course or a participant may substitute another attendee on the course (unless on-line content has already been supplied). After 14 days prior to a course no refund applies, however a participant may substitute a course attendee. Alternatively a participant may be able to transfer to a later course. For courses where on-line content is provided prior to a course once payment has been processed, no refund applies. Combined Health reserves the right to cancel or change a course to an alternative date without notice. When this happens all participants will receive a refund. Combined Health is not responsible for other associated expenses. Registration in this instance is transferable.
